The Self Hypnosis course is held in East Bergholt, on the Essex/Suffolk border between Ipswich and Colchester.

This course comprises six weekly sessions starting on Thursday 18^th September 2008 at 7.30pm.  Each session lasts about two hours and there is plenty of time for questions and discussion.  The exact venue is to be confirmed depending on the number of applicants.

Using Advanced Hypnotherapy the course is designed to help with relaxation, self discovery, and instigating changes at the subconscious level.  Participants are taught a variety of self hypnosis techniques and are also given the opportunity to learn about HypnoHealing.

It is important for participants to understand that hypnosis is simply a state of mind, that no one can be hypnotised against their will, and that they will never say or do anything that they do not want to.  In hypnosis you are fully aware of what is going on, and you are in control at all times.

Course Synopsis

Session 1:  Introduction.  Understanding the subconscious.  About hypnosis. Basic hypnosis exercise.  The use of the post hypnotic.

Session 2:  Review of previous session.  Introduction to visualisation.  Effects of stress. The use of suggestions in hypnosis.  Using time limits in hypnosis. Increasing self confidence.

Session 3:  Review.  Alternative route into hypnosis.  Deepening procedure. Further work with visualisation.

Session 4:  Review.  Rules for structuring suggestions.  The effect of limiting beliefs.  Instigating change.  Measuring the quality of hypnosis.  Further deepening techniques.  Visualisation.

Session 5:  Review.  Alternative deepening techniques.  Additional rules for structuring suggestions.  Further visualisation.

Session 6:  Review.  HypnoHealing.  Protection from negative outside influences.  Visualisation.
